Edna Bayless Ferris

Edna Marie Bayless Ferris, 78, of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, May 04, 2005 at Community Hospice Center in Ashland, KY following a short illness. Born July 04, 1926 at Catlettsburg, KY she was the daughter of the late Thomas P. Bayless, Sr. and Bessie Filmore Bayless. Edna was a member of the Fellowship Memorial Baptist Church, Oak Hill, WV and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Basil W. Ferris and a daughter, Nancy K. Bayless. Survivors include two brothers, Thomas P. Bayless, Jr. of Catlettsburg, KY and Charles L. Bayless of Enon, OH; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Oak Hill on Saturday, May 7, 2005, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Services will be on Saturday, May 7, 2005, at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Bill Menefee officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill WV. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Gideons International, PO Box 612, Ansted, WV 25812.
