Edith R. Petro Payne

Edith Ruby Petro Payne , 84, of Sun, WV died on Monday, August 16, 2010 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born April 13, 1926 at Price Hill, WV she was the daughter of the late Tony and Vicie Bryant Petro. She was a homemaker. A brother, Amos Petro and two sisters, Jenny Marie Petro and Garnet Juliane preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, Clifford A. Payne of War, Lewis W. Payne of War and Larry Jr. Payne of Hinsley; two daughters, Vicie Ann Riffe of Hinsley and Mary Elizabeth Kennedy of Welch and one sister, Elsie Parker of Sun. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Services will be on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Jessie Parker officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
