Edith B. Davis, 91, of Dade City Florida, formerly of Mount Hope, WV died on Tuesday, April 8, 2015.

Born August 1, 1923 in Mount Hope, WV she was the daughter of the late Sam and Maria Troiani Bonifacio.

She was a substitute elementary teacher and homemaker in Dade City, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis K. Davis; four brothers, Julius, Floyd, Paul and Orval (Oggie) Bonifacio; five sisters, Rose, Algisa (Gese), Lena, Dorina, Edith; and half sister Angelina.

Survivors include son Britt Davis of Lexington, Kentucky; sisters in law, Phyllis Bonifacio and Leona Bonifacio; brother in law, Curt Davis; nephews, Doug and Dean Bonifacio, Sam, Tommy, and Richard Bonifacio, Billy Bergandahl and Craig, Mark and Scott Davis; and nieces, Paula Bonifacio, Sandra Mora, Sylvia Jablonski, Patricia Clark, and Barbara Thomas.

Edith was blessed to have the comfort and support of her friend Kitten Davis during her last year.

Friends and family may call for visitation from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm on Thursday April 23, 2015 at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Minister Dennis Kinzer officiating. Graveside rites and committal service will at 2:00 pm at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill.
