Eddie T. Marshall

With his daughters at his side, Eddie "Tom" T. Marshall, 78, of Oak Hill, WV passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at Hidden Valley Nursing and Rehab Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born January 12, 1929 at Kaymoor, WV he was the son of the late Eddie and Eva Johnson Marshall. He was a retired coal miner for Central Appalachian Coal at Morris Creek. Mr. Marshall was a member of Local 9116, District #17 U.M.W.A. He was an avid outdoorsman and collector. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Virginia Coleman Marshall. Survivors include two daughters, Karen Price of Oak Hill, WV and Sharon Hayslett and husband, Tom of Oak Hill, WV; two brothers, Frank Marshall and Donald Marshall both of Alabama; four sisters, Velva King of Tennessee, Ellen Kirk of Alabama, Camilla Miller of Alabama and Anna Dean Thomas of Florida; three grandchildren, Monty Asbury, Andrew Asbury and wife, Deana and Drew Ballengee and companion, Jennifer; four great grandchildren, Kayla Asbury, Seth Asbury, Daniel Asbury and Taylor Asbury. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Saturday, February 17, 2007, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Services will be on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Jerry Bush officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity WV.
