Earnest Franklin "Frank" Koone, Sr. , 54, of Mount Hope, WV passed away on Friday, March 11, 2011 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. Born August 09, 1956 at Oak Hill, WV he was the eldest son of the late William Franklin Koone, Jr. and Earnestine Kamits Koone. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 33 years and his best friend, Shirl J. Ford Koone, children, Craig A. Ford and wife, Tara , East Stroudsburg, PA, Rhianna Brown, Charlotte, NC, Earnest F. "Boo" Koone, Jr. and his companion, Linda Cobb, Mount Hope and Tonnah Christine Ford and fiance, Cory Fallaw, Richmond, VA, seven grandchildren, Christian C. Brown, Loren M. Ford, Kayla G. Brown, Jacob A. Koone, Rainelle K. Ford, Evan F. Koone and Lily Shea Ofsa, two brothers, Joe Koone, Princeton and William Paul Koone, Sr. and wife, Schena K., Beckley and two sisters, Linda Jane Gambrell and husband, Darrell , White Oak and Elizabeth "Libby" Hansford and husband, Randy, Ghent. Also surviving are his mother-in-law, Shirley Ford of Lego, sisters-in-law, Tina M. Armentrout and husband, Roger, and Lisa A. McKinney and husband, David, brother-in-law, Armistead L. Ford, Jr. and wife, Pam, nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, aunts, uncles and good friends. He will be missed. Special thanks to Kevin... It was Frank's wish to be cremated.
