Earl Lilly

Earl Lando Lilly, 80, of Hilltop, WV died on Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at Hilltop Healthcare Center in Hilltop, WV following a short illness. Born May 02, 1923 at Dunns, WV he was the son of the late John Clifford and Sally Greer Lilly. Mr. Lilly was a retired Mine Foreman for New River Company. He served in the US Navy and the US Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherry Lilly Pauley and two brothers, Cecil and Richard Lilly. Survivors include wife, Estelle Kincaid Lilly; son, Earl (Cindy) Lilly of Hilltop; daughter, Melody (George) Bragg of Beaver; grandchildren, Dyane Corcoran, Morgan Bragg, Young Earl Lilly, II, Zachary Ryan Lilly, John Wesley Lilly and Lauren Marie Stewart; great grandchildren, Kyle Corcoran and Keara Anne Rene Lilly. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Thursday, April 22, 2004, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Services will be on Friday, April 23, 2004, at 2:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with George Lechalk officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity WV with military graveside rites by VFW Post #3110, Oak Hill, WV.
