Earl Conner

Earl A. Conner, 78, of Oak Hill, WV died on Friday, August 22, 2003 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV following a short illness. Born January 01, 1925 at Scarbro, WV he was the son of the late Andrew Jackson and Emile Forbes Conner. Mr. Conner was a retired head tapper for Union Carbide. He was a World War II POW and veteran . He was preceded in death by six brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include wife of 53 years, Dora J. Wingrove Conner; Son and daughter in law, Danny Earl and Joyce Conner of Oak Hill; Daughter and son in law, Linda and Lewis Sanson of Oak Hill; Brother and sister in law, Norman and Hazel Conner of Oak Hill and Sister and brother in law, Helen and Lester Burton of Jackson, MI. ALso survived by Granddaughter, Donna O'Hara and husband, Dustin of Martinsburg. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Sunday, August 24, 2003, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Services will be on Monday, August 25, 2003 at 10:30 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill iwith Rev. Delmas Wolfe and Rev. Bruce Johnson officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill WV.
