Drogan Braenovich

Drogan Braenovich, 80, of Kincaid, WV died on Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at CAMC - Memorial Division in Charleston, WV. Born March 28, 1925 at Page, WV he was the son of the late George and Mary Zelic Braenovich. He was a retired coal miner having worked for Cannelton Industries. Mr. Braenovich was a member of the U.M.W.A., Oak Hill Lodge #120 A.F. & A.M., Scottish Rite Bodies and the Beni Kedem Temple A.A.O.N.M.S., Charleston, WV. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Stoin, Melvin, Anthony "Tony" and Nick Braenovich; one sister, Mary Cole. Survivors include wife, Dorothy Ethel Turley Braenovich; four sons, Lee Braenovich of Charleston, WV , Jon Braenovich of Oak Hill, WV, Don Braenovich of Haymarket, VA and Jeff Brenovich of Charleston, WV; sisters, Annie Thomas of Wilmington, NC and Julie Hudson of Keystone, WV; a very special nephew, Sam Braenovich of Robson, WV; four grandchildren, Kelly and Patrick Braenovich and Ty and Ali Braenovich. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV on Friday, July 29, 2005, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Services will be on Friday July 29, 2005, at 2:30 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV with Rev. Delmas Wolfe officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Southern West Virginia, PO Box 1472, Beckley WV 25802.
