Drema G. “Cookie” Amick Barton, 74, of Mesa, AZ died on October 2 , 2012 after short battle with cancer.
Born on April 30, 1938 in Minden, WV she was the daughter of the late Albert Luther and Freda Virginia Tomlin Amick.
Cookie married to Charles H. Barton on August 1, 1954. He preceded her in death on Oct 11, 2007. Three brothers, Ray Amick, William Amick and Avlin “Bob” Amick;and two sisters, Marcie A. Bowyer and Anna Lea Barton also preceded her in death.
Surviving are her four children Susan Barton, Guy Barton, Lee Barton, and Terry Barton all living in Arizona and three grandchildren, Kimberly Barton, Charlie Barton and Trinity Rinks.
In accordance with her wishes, Cookie was cremated, no services were requested. Her ashes have been returned to her home in West Virginia.
