Dougas Macarthur "Mack" Thomas, Jr.

Douglas MacArthur "Mack" Thomas, Jr., 48, of Oak Hill died Monday, June 10, 2013 at Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill following an apparent heart attack. Born March 29, 1965 at Oak Hill, he was the son of Douglas MacArthur and Ruth Martin Thomas of Minden. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Toy and Kathern Martin and his paternal grandparents, Earl and Virginia Thomas. He was a salesman with Cole Truck Parts and was of the Protestant faith. Survivors include his wife, Christy Evans Thomas; two sons, Matthew D. and Christopher M. Thomas, all of Oak Hill and one brother, James Lee Thomas and wife, Chrissy of Oak Hill. Funeral services will be 1:00 P. M. Friday, June 14, 2013 at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Paul Basham officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill.
