Dorothy Virginia "Dottie" Johnston Walker , 50, of Page, WV died on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV.

Born March 30, 1965 at Alexandria, VA she was the daughter of Thomas E. Johnston of Page, WV and the late Carolyn Sue Boston Johnston.

She was a full time employee of New River Health and a part time ER Registration Clerk for Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.

Dottie enjoyed life to the fullest and was always a very giving, loving person. She liked crafts and cooking and making people laugh.

A brother, Thomas E. Johnston, Jr. preceded her in death.

In addition to her father, Dottie leaves behind a loving and devoted family which includes son, Carl "Harry" Walker of Kincaid; daughter, Jennifer Renee Walker of Kincaid; her former husband, Carl Dewitt Walker; and two sisters, Penny Johnston Settle of Oak Hill and Karen Johnston McNeely of Robson.

Also surviving are five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Delmas Wolfe officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill. Family members will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
