Dorothy Dew Stover, 95, of Waverly, OH died on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Bristol Village in Waverly, OH. Born June 23, 1914 at Maynor, WV she was the daughter of the late Henry Lee and Eliza Pearl Davis Dew. She was a charter member of the Bradley Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Stover was a retired Raleigh County teacher with 36 years service in the field of education. Her husband of 70 years, Willis Stover and brothers, Robert and Neil Dew preceded her in death. Survivors include one son; Udy Stover and wife, Judy of Chillicothe, OH; sister, Gay Boyle and husband, Bill of Beckley; grandson, Brett Stover of Cincinnati, OH; granddaughter, Nancy Davenport and husband, James of Kingston, NY; three great grandchildren, Kate, Jay and Will of Kingston, NY; nephew, George Dew of Roswell, GA and niece, Helen Bartow of Annapolis, MD. Services will be on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Rev. Elizabeth Stone officiating. Entombment will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Prosperity. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
