Dorothy Sizemore

Dorothy Peters Sizemore, 91, of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, June 04, 2008 at her home. Born October 24, 1916 at Red Star, WV she was the daughter of the late Charles Wenkfield and Mary Taylor Peters. Mrs. Sizemore was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church at Fayette Heights and a homemaker. Her life was loving and doing for her family and her church. Her husband, Luther Franklin "Luke" Sizemore preceded her in death. Survivors include four sons, William Sizemore and wife, Freda of Clarksville, TN, Ronald M. Sizemore and wife, Nancy of Oliver Springs, TN, Gary Sizemore and wife, Debby of Oak Hill and Michael A. Sizemore and wife, Bernadine of Oak Hill and two daughters, Etta Brooks and husband, Charles of Worthington, OH and Susan Stiltner and husband, Michael of Huntington. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, David Lewis, Lora Brooks, Rhonda Thrasher, Christopher Sizemore, Leigh Hagewood, Benjamin Sizemore, Emily Sizemore and Britany Sizemore and eight great grandchildren. Services will be on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 2:30 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Hayward Lough officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV. Friends may call from 1:00 PM until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
