Dorothy Jay Armstrong Perkins , 89, of Oak Hill, WV died on Thursday, September 04, 2014 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV.
Born January 27, 1925 at Kingston, WV she was the daughter of the late Nolan and Audrey Arnold Armstrong.
She was a retired clerk for Noyes Mens and Boys Store.
Mrs. Perkins was a member of the First Church of the Brethren of Oak Hill.
Her husband, Thomas Anthony "Tom" Perkins preceded her in death as did a brother, James Armstrong and a sister, Betty June McNabb.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be on Monday, September 8, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor William Skeldon and Pastor Pat Franklin officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
