Dorothy May Mcmillion Williams

Dorothy May McMillion Williams, 77, died on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at her home in Coke Oven Hollow in Page, following an extended illness.   Born July 29,1936, in Mulberry, Fayette County, WV the daughter of the late Rev. Orville McMillion and Ethel Runion McMillion Selvey.   Dorothy was a homemaker and worked as a cook at Page School, where she was loved and enjoyed preparing and serving meals for the students that she treated as her own. She retired from the Fayette County Board of Education. She loved to read a good book, loved her beautiful flowers, and loved to travel. She gave to many charities. She was the most kind-hearted, loving, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother and best friend to all who knew her. She was an avid bird lover who enjoyed feeding the birds.   "Each soul is a beautiful flower that passed from Earth---only to bloom new in heaven's garden."   She was preceded in death by her loving husband Orba A. Williams Sr., her daughter-in-law "Bonnie" C. Williams and her great grandchild, Blake A. Williams.   Survivors include her children, Betty Harler and husband, William "Bill" of Page, Donna Pino and husband Joe, of Oak Hill, Ronnie Williams and Lisa Collins, of Kimberly, Orba Williams, Jr. and wife Cathy, of Kincaid and Tammy Bostick and husband Nathan "Junior", of Lexington, NC; siblings, Roselee Davis of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Stanley McMillion of Salem, VA and Martha Toney of Kincaid, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and her companion William "Roland" Stone of Page.   Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Friday, February 28, 2014, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
