Dorothy Knuchel

Dorothy Lucinda Carle Knuchel, 87, of Lochgelly, WV formerly of Weirton, WV died on Monday, October 25, 2004 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law. Born April 25, 1917 at Monroe County, OH she was the daughter of the late Russell and Loretta Walters Carle. She was a retired Kitchen Supervisor for Millsap Community Center, Weirton. Mrs. Knuchel was a member of the Disciples of Christ Church, Weirton and she also attended the First Christian Church in Lehigh Acres, FL. Survivors include husband of 65 years, LaVerne Knuchel; son, Roger (Joan) Knuchel of Byersville, OH; daughter, Darlene (Don) Newell of Lochgelly; brother, Emory (Jean) Carle; sister, Olive (William) Precek; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Harper Funeral Home, 52728 Ohio Avenue, Beallsville, OH on Thursday, October 28, 2004, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Services will be on Friday, October 29, 2004, at 10:00 am at Harper Funeral Home in Beallsville with Rev. Kevin Bowers officiating. Burial will be at Beallsville Cemetery Beallsville OH.
