Dorothy Cale

Dorothy Lee Wolfe Cale, 82, of Bloomington, Indiana formerly of Kincaid, WV died Saturday, March 4, 2006 in a Bloomington, Indiana hospital after an extended illness. Born August 1, 1923 at Page, WV, she was a daughter of the late Harrison and Louise Wendell Wolfe. She was a homemaker. Dorothy was a member of the Page Baptist Church, a former member of the Oak Hill Order of the Eastern Star #107, White Shrine of Jerusalem of Beckley, and the Phythian Sisters. She was preceded by her husband, James Norton Cale. She is survived by one son, Dennis James Cale, Bloomington, IN; three daughters, DeElla Pat Dillon, St. Albans, WV, Brenda Joyce Bozo, Blackstone, VA, and Deborah Kay Burgess, Fredericksburg, VA; three sisters, Betty Fisher, Dover, DE, Mary Barnes, Wilmington, DE, Nancy Smidth, Lillian, AL; three brothers, James Wolfe, Ray Wolfe, and L. D. Wolfe, all of Newark, DE; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, March 9, 2006 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill, WV with Rev. Delmas Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 8, 2006, evening at the funeral home.
