Dorothy E. Braenovich

Dorothy Ethel Braenovich, 75, of South Charleston, WV formerly of Kincaid, WV died on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at Tender Heart Home Care in South Charleston. Born August 14, 1932 at Culloden, WV she was the daughter of the late Howard and Carrie Foster Turley. Mrs. Braenovich attended the Kincaid United Methodist Church and was a member of the Oak Hill Chapter No. 107 O.E.S. Before becoming a clerk and Postmistress for the US Postal Service at Kincaid, Dorothy worked for H&R Block in Oak Hill. The Braenovich family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff of Charleston Gardens and Wynona Johnson of Tender Heart. Her husband, Drogan Braenovich preceded her in death. Survivors include four sons, Lee Braenovich and wife, Nancy of Charleston, Jon Braenovich and wife, Shelia of Oak Hill, Don Braenovich and wife, Evette of Haymarket, VA and Jeff Braenovich and wife, Lori of Charleston; four brothers, Bob Turley of Huntington, Dewey Turley of Atlanta, GA, Gary Turley of Madison and Curtis Turley of Columbus, OH and five sisters, Wanda Woodrum Davis-Worth of Huntington, Loretta Williams of Ona, Betty Steed of Parkersburg, Louis Turley of Huntington and Barbara Effingham of Huntington. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Kelly Braenovich of Morgantown, Patrick Braenovich of Charleston, Ty Braenovich and Ali Braenovich both of Oak Hill and Mallory Braenovich of Charleston. Services will be on Friday, January 18, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Delmas Wolfe officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Braenovich's four sons, Lee, Jon, Don and Jeff and two grandsons, Patrick and Ty will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimers Association, 1111 Lee Street East, Charleston WV 25301.
