Dora Lewis Vest

Dora E. Lewis Vest , 85, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, April 27, 2015 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.
Born May 13, 1929 at Kathyrn, WV she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Nina Myrtle Ayers Lewis.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Vest, Jr. and an infant son, Robert Vest.
Survivors include two sons, William J. Vest and Carol of Oak Hill and Homer Vest, III and wife Janney of Hiddenite, NC; three brothers, Sonny Lewis of Panama City, FL, Ravon Lewis of New Jersey and Bill Lewis of Michigan; and four sisters, Diane McKinney of Oak Hill, Joan Terry of Sun, Joy Dobbs of Sun and Judith Ann Sheehan of Oak Hill.
Also surviving are three grandchildren, Rebecca Haggerty, Melissa Tuthill and husband Scott and Samantha Morrison; six great grandchildren, Kina Vest, Hannah Tuthill, Sydney Tuthill, Joe Morrison, Tabitha Morrison and Megan Lira and David and four great-great grandchildren, Lily Lira, Grayson Lira, Kayden Lira, and Sophia Morrison.
Funeral services will be on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 12:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill in with Rev. Bob Burnett officiating Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
