Donnie G. Falk

Donnie Gene Falk, 64, of Delbarton, WV,  formerly of Oak Hill, WV, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2011, at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY. Born January 18, 1947, in Oak Hill, he was the son of Joyce McNulty Falk Chambers of Charlotte, NC and the late James Eugene Falk. In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by a twin brother, Ronnie Falk and his son, Scott Falk. Donnie was a retired mine foreman with A. T. Massey.  He was a devoted member of the Bethel Temple Assembly of God.  He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time of the water. He was also very active with the Oak Hill Jaycees prior to moving to the Delbarton area. Donnie was a loving son, a devoted husband and father and a wonderful brother and uncle. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and many dear friends. In addition to his mother, Donnie is survived by his loving wife and constant companion, Connie Falk; a son, Preston (Deann) Falk of Mt. Hope, WV; a brother, James Eugene Falk of Goldsboro, NC; a sister, Robyn Hovis of Claremont, NC; and two nieces, McKenzie and Lindsay Hovis.  He is also survived by a host of loving friends and extended family members. The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 9 pm, on Wednesday evening, December 14, 2011, at the Bethel Temple Assembly of God at Nolan, WV.  Friends may also call from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm, on Thursday, December 15, 2011, at Tyree Funeral Home, in Oak Hill, WV.  The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm, immediately following visitation. The Reverend Bobby Perry will officiate. Burial will follow the service at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV.
