Donald Roy Williams , 71, of Pax, WV died on Monday, November 12, 2012 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. Born August 08, 1941 at Clear Creek, WV he was the son of the late Sherman and Orfice Wriston Williams. He was a retired coal miner for Consol Coal. Mr. Williams was a member of the Pax Worship Center and UMWA Local #1330. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Scarbrough Williams, a son, Paul David Williams, son-in-law, Cecil Williams, sister, Millie Wilson and two brothers, Ronald Williams and Glen Williams. Survivors include sons, Dwayne Williams and wife, Judy of Pax and Gary Williams and wife, Renee of Pax, daughters, Theresa Tyree and husband, Robert of Pax, Rebecca Pritt and husband, Charlie of Pax and Sandra Williams of Pax, two brothers, Thurmond Williams and wife, Loretta of Pax and Ricky Williams and wife, Brenda of Pax, brother-in-law, Ewell Wilson of Pax, fifteen grand children and twenty-two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Pastor Dwayne Williams and Pastor Darrell Ewing officiating. Burial will be at Willis Branch Community Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
