Donald E. Mills

Donald Edward Mills, 77, of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born January 16, 1930 at Minden, WV he was the son of the late Ernest and Hazel Miller Mills. He was a Building Service Employee for the Montgomery County, MD public schools. Mr. Mills was a member of the Wheaton Baptist Church, Wheaton, MD and attended the Gospel Tabernacle, Oak Hill, WV. Donald served in the 2nd Infantry Division of the US Army. He was a combat medic in the Korean Conflict for which he was awarded a Bronze Star for bravery. A brother, Ernest Mills, Sr. and two sisters, Frances Plasha and Joann Poindexter preceded him in death. Survivors include wife, Allison Ruth Rinehart Mills; three daughters, Sandra Sutton of Frederick, MD, Donna Mils of Peoria, Arizona and Deanna Saxton of Oak Hill, WV; three brothers, Nealy Mills of Maple Fork, WV, Arthur Mills of Tucson, AZ and Teddy Mills of Vineland, NJ; four sisters, Freda Haskett of Gaithersburg, MD, Judy McGraw of Bolt, WV, Shirley Mills of Oak Hill, WV and Mary Young of Oak Hill, WV and six grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Monday, March 26, 2007, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Services will be on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Robert Isaacs and Rev. Allen Gallimore officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity WV.
