Donald R. Heron

Donald Ray Heron, 75, of Oak Hill, WV died on Sunday, February 12, 2006 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born September 01, 1930 at Mullens, WV he was the son of the late Fred Roy Heron, Sr. and Virginia Heron. Donald moved to Oak Hill in 1999 where he attended church regularly. He enjoyed his church and his caregiver and friend, Michele Evans. He like watching movies and listening to his Bible books on tape. Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Survivors include four nieces and eight nephews. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Saturday, February 18, 2006, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Services will be on Saturday, February 18, 2006, at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Joe Hoggard officiating. Entombment will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Prosperity WV.
