Donald J. Dufour, Sr.

Donald "Jack" Jackson DuFour, Sr., 61, of Cool Ridge, WV died on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at VA Medical Center in Salem, VA. Born April 21, 1945 at Caperton, WV he was the son of the late George and Jinny Margaret McCormick DuFour. He was a warehouse worker for Fisher Auto Parts. Mr. DuFour was a member of the Glen Morgan Missionary Baptist Church, Glen Morgan and a US Army veteran. A brother, Harold Lee DuFour preceded him in death. Survivors include wife, Frieda Cochran DuFour; two sons, Donald Jackson DuFour, Jr. and wife, Lori of Piney View and David Lee DuFour of Beckley; five brothers, George DuFour of Kingsville, OH, Frank DuFour, Richard DuFour, Danny DuFour and James DuFour all of Ashtabula, OH; two sisters, Evelyn Birchfield of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Emma DuFour of Ashtabula, OH; three grandchildren, Chelsea, Kylie and Kaitlyn DuFour. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Saturday, October 14, 2006, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Services will be on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Gracen Lilly officiating. Burial will be at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Oak Hill WV.
