Donald C. Allen

Donald Carl Allen, 57, of Meadow Fork Road died on Wednesday, November 01, 2006 at his home following a long illness. Born July 08, 1949 at Glen Jean, WV he was the son of the late Arthur and Evelyn Feazell Allen. He was the manager for Brownies Trucking, Beckley, WV and of the Protestant faith. Survivors include his wife, Jane Allen; one son, David Allen and wife, Bonnie of Meadow Fork Road; one daughter, Donna Nelson and husband, Billy of Oak Hill; one brother, Sidney Allen and wife, Loretta of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Sandra McHale and husband, Bob of Watertown, NY and Mary Adkins and husband, Bill of Glen Jean, WV; two grandchildren, Jesse Nelson and Colton Nelson both of Oak Hill nd one step-grandson, Antione Pogorelski of Meadow Fork Road. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Saturday, November 4, 2006, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Services will be on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at 8:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Richard Allen officiating. Burial will be at Smith Cemetery, Rt 1 Oak Hill WV.
