Dolores Evans Terry

Dolores Evelyn Evans Terry , 83, of Oak Hill, WV died on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV.

Born December 11, 1930 at Davy, WV she was the daughter of the late Samuel Earl and Bunah Elizabeth Lawrence Evans.

She was retired from George's Fashions in Oak Hill. She was a 1948 graduate of Oak Hill High School.

For the past four years Dolores has been a resident at Fayette Continuous Care Center in Fayetteville.

Her husband of 55 years, James Edmond Terry preceded her in death as did her daughter, Deborah E. Kirk, grandson, Jeremy Pino, and brother-in-law, Hubert Surbaugh.

Survivors include a daughter, Delora "Squeaky" Meadows and husband, Rick of Beckley; son, James "Jim" Terry of Huntington and a sister, Phyllis Surbaugh of Oak Hill.

Also surviving are three grandchildren, Joshua Pino and his significant other, Kela Ortiz of Hilton Head, SC, Rachel Pino and her significant other, Matthew McComas of Oak Hill and Samantha McGuire of Olmstead, OH; great grandchildren, Tierra of Oak Hill, Derek, Nicholas and Elana of Olmstead, OH; Mia, Jackson and Lillian Kate of Oak Hill and Sole' of Hilton Head, SC and a very special family, Terri and Tucker Moran.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Father Roy Gene Crist officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.

Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
