Dolores Noroskey Rush

Dolores Ann Noroskey Rush, 82, of Chesapeake, Va. formerly of Oak Hill, WV passed away Saturday August 16, 2008 at the Maryview Nursing Center, Suffolk, Va. where she had resided for thirteen years. Born June 6, 1926 in Sun, WV she was the daughter of the late Carl J. and Bessie Lee Wickline Noroskey of Oak Hill, WV. She was a 1944 graduate of Oak Hill High School. Dolores and Bill moved to the Virginia Beach area in 1960. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of sixty-one years, William D. Rush of Chesapeake, Va, only daughter, Carol Rush West and husband Dennis, two grandchildren, Kevin West and wife Avery, and Carly West, one great-grand-daughter, Kendall Elizabeth West, all of Charlotte, NC and one sister, Helen Wriston of Oak Hill, WV. Illness took her voice and mobility at an early age, however her smile remained to all who came near to her. The family wishes to express gratitude to the staff of Maryview Nursing Center. A memorial service will be held at 4pm, Sunday, August 24, 2008 at the Kingdom Hall of JehovahÂ’s Witnesses, 2820 Galberry Road, Chesapeake, Va., conducted by Minister John Tillett, of Colonial Heights, Va. Her cremains will be interred at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill at a later date.
