Dolly M. Ross Whitlock

Dolly M. Ross Whitlock , 96, of Oak Hill, WV died on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born May 05, 1916 at Glen Jean, WV she was the daughter of the late John Franklin and Mary Thurbon Ross. Mrs. Whitlock was a member of the Oak Hill United Methodist Church where she attended the Rebecca Bible Class and was a member of the 3 F's. Her husband, William Jennings Whitlock, sister, Margaret Dove and brothers, Vance Ross, Edgar Ross and John Franklin Ross preceded her in death. Survivors include two children, William "Butch" Whitlock and wife, Janice of Oak Hill and Melissa Jane Charnabay and husband, Jay of Oak Hill, grandson, Stephen Douglas Whitlock and wife, Mary of Westfield, NJ, two great grandchildren, Riley Frances Whitlock, and Bridget Mary Whitlock both of Westfield, NJ and a step grandson, Dan Wickens of Westfield, NJ Funeral services will be on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill. with Dr. Charles Miller officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
