Dollie Mae Kania

Dollie Mae Saunders Kania, 84, of Fayetteville, WV formerly of Oak Hill, WV died on Sunday, January 20, 2008 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill. Born January 19, 1924 at Derry Hale, WV she was the daughter of the late Joe and Loretta Fields Saunders. Mrs. Kania was a member of the Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church of Oak Hill and a homemaker. Her husband, Bernard Joe "Bernie" Kania, Sr. on Aug 16, 1967 preceded her in death. Dollie was the last survivor of her immediate family. Survivors include one son, Bernie Kania, Jr. of Fayetteville and three daughters, Brenda Bredeck and husband, Gene of Dearfield Beach, FL, Barbara Morris and husband, Tom of Winchester, VA and Sheila Mechling and husband, Russ of Uniontown, PA. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Oak Hill with Father Paul Yuenger officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM.
