Doke Carl "D.C." Rapp

Doke Carl "D.C." Rapp , 89, of Myrtle Beach, SC formerly of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, April 04, 2012 at National Healthcare Center in Garden City, SC. Born January 24, 1923 at Harvey, WV he was the son of the late Doke C. and Minnie Heath Rapp. He was a retired Postal Carrier for the U. S. Postal Service. Mr. Rapp was a member of the Oak Hill United Methodist Church and a World War II US Army veteran. His wife, Gloria Mae Williams Rapp and a sister, Nancy Potter preceded him in death. Survivors include two sons, David B. Rapp of Oak Hill and Mark S. Rapp and wife, Teresa of Huntington, and a sister, Alice Bragg of Maryland. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Luke, Amelia, Jason, Jessica and Brett and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 2:30 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Dr. Charles D. Miller officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill on Friday, April 6, 2012 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
