Dexter Phillip Scarbrough , 59, of Oak Hill, WV died on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born June 04, 1953 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of Ivora Rhodes Scarbrough of Oak Hill, WV and the late Elmer Ray Scarbrough. He was a disabled iron worker. Mr. Scarbrough was a member of the Sun Full Gospel Church and was a US Navy veteran. In addition to his mother, Dexter is survived by his wife of 6 years, Martha Riley Scarbrough, one son, Max Scarbrough of Florida, three daughters, Rachel Scarbrough of Florida, Jessie Scarbrough of New York and Jackie Scarbrough of New York, four brothers, Delbert Scarbrough and wife, Della of Virginia, Douglas Scarbrough and wife, Tammy of South Carolina, Kavin Scarbrough and wife, Gay of South Carolina and Ivan Scarbrough and wife, Cheryl of Bluefield and a sister, Donna Pyles of Herndon, VA Mr. Scarbrough was cremated.
