Dewayne Leroy Annis, Sr.

Dewayne Leroy Annis, Sr., 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 27, 2023 in South Carolina.

Born June 2, 1942 in Petoskey, MI he was the son of the late Ralph and Evelyn Hass Annis.

Dewayne worked and retired as a retail and auditor from JCPenney, in his leisure he enjoyed reading, music, singing, and was active in the Theater plays in Fayetteville.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Marian Scott Annis; and son Richard Annis.

Those left to cherish his wonderful memory include his loving children, Dewayne Annis, Jr. (Angie), Robin Duffy and companion Ken Kasper, Tammy Dirole, and Melissa Tibbs (Mark); 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Ralph Annis and James Annis; and sister Ellen Massy.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill. Burial will follow at Peasant View Cemetery in Fayetteville.

Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
