Dennis James Taylor

Dennis James Taylor , 59, of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. Born June 06, 1953 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late Alfred Raymond and Anna Margaret Smith Taylor. He was a disabled auto mechanic. A brother, Gene Pearlie Taylor and two sisters, JoAnn Scarbrough and Shirley Milam preceded him in death. Survivors include two daughters, Ashley Shepard and husband, Brandon of Oak Hill and Sarah Adkins and husband, Curtis of Scarbro, and one sister, Frances "Frankie" Rose of Hilltop. Also surviving are five grandchildren, C.J., Luke, and Whitney Adkins all of Scarbro and Taylor and Braydon Shepard both of Oak Hill and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Melvin Adkins officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
