Dennis E. Sizemore

Dennis E. Sizemore, 63, of Glen Morgan, WV died Saturday, July 21, 2007, at Union, WV of an apparent heart attack. He was born July 19, 1944, at Ward, WV, a son of the late Roscoe and Edith Cox Sizemore. Dennis was a coal miner having retired from Eastern Coal. He was member of the U.M.W.A. Local #1503, District #17; the Mountaineer Hunting Club, the N.R.A. and the D.A.V. He was a U. S. Marine veteran serving as a P.F.C. He is survived by his wife, Helen R. Smith Sizemore; one son, Dennis R. Sizemore; two daughters, Helena Blevins and Deanna (Allen) Sargent, all of Glen Morgan, WV; two grandchildren, Kathryn (Wayne) Harold and Christina Sargent; one great-grandchild, Caleb Harold; two brothers, Ray Sizemore of Dothan, WV and Roy Sizemore of Oak Hil, WV. Funeral service will be 2:00 P. M. Friday, July 27, at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill, WV with Pastor Roy Boyd, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Kincaid Cemetery, Kincaid, WV with military rites conducted by V.F.W. Post #3110, Oak Hill. Friends may call from 6:00 until 8:00 P. M. Thursday evening at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill.
