Delora E. Teano

Delora E. Camack Teano, 86, of Raleigh, NC formerly of Oak Hill, WV died on Friday, January 20, 2006 at WakeMed Center in Raleigh, NC following a short illness. Born March 07, 1919 at Vincennes, IN she was the daughter of the late William and Bessie Brown Camack. Mrs. Teano was a member of the United Methodist Church, Oak Hill, WV where she was Circle chairman for 8 years. She was a former Cub Scout Den Mother and Girl Scout leader and had been an acitve member of Beta Sigma Phi and the Oak Hill Civic League. Delora was a member of the Red Hat Club and a charter member of the "Golden Girls." She was a homemaker. Her husband, Benedict "Ben" Teano, and a son, William"Bill" L. Teano preceded her in death. Survivors include one daughter, Darleen Heagarty and two grandchildren, Chris Heagarty of Raleigh, NC and Nicole Heagarty of Murfreesboro, TN Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV on Sunday, January 22, 2006, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Services will be on Monday, January 23, 2006, at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. William Slates and Dr. John Sauvage officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill WV.
