Della Elizabeth Thomas Smoot , 94, of Fayetteville, WV died on Friday, June 03, 2016 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.
Born June 06, 1921 at Davy, WV she was the daughter of the late Martin Luther and Myrtle Felty Thomas.
Mrs. Smoot previously attended the Jones Avenue First Church of God, Oak Hill and was a homemaker.
Her husband, Early Eugene Smoot, Sr.; son, Walter Oscar Crawford; brothers, Clarence, Walter, Howard, Clifford and Earl Thomas; and sisters, Anna Lee White, Nellie Mae Spradling, Jessie Short and Edith Dodd preceded her in death.
Della is survived by her devoted family which includes one son, Early Eugene Smoot, Jr. of Palm Bay, FL; daughter, Jeanette Ann Smoot of Rt 1 Fayetteville; grandson, Brandon Ray Smoot and wife, Kathia Garelik; and great grandson, Liam Smoot.
Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Noon Tuesday, May 7, 2016 at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Delmas Wolfe officiating. Burial will at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill, WV.
Visitation for friends will be from 11:00 A.M. until Noon.
