Della I. Coleman

Della Irene Wriston Coleman, 75, of Mount Hope, WV died on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. Born May 04, 1931 at Mossy, WV she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary Stover Wriston. She was the retired Assistant Director of Volunteer Services for Raleigh General Hospital with 20 years service. Mrs. Coleman was a member of the Kilsyth Free Will Baptist Church where she was Sunday school secretary for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Greene Coleman, Jr. on February 4, 2004. Survivors include two sons, Ralph Coleman, Sr. and wife, Eudora of Oak Hill, WV and Roger Pritt, her beloved son after 36 years of foster care of Scarbro, WV; one daughter, Mary K. "Kathy" McNeely and husband, Randy of Scarbro, WV; one brother, Doug Wriston of Chillicothe, OH; three sisters, Loraine Wriston Shuemake of Beards Fork, WV, Madeline Wriston Ward of Scarbro, WV and Loretta Wriston Johnson of Cape Coral, FL; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren Visitation will be held at Kilsyth Free Will Baptist Church on Thursday, April 19, 2007 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Services will be on Friday, April 20, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Kilsyth Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Bennett and Rev. Orville Setliff officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill WV.
