Della Mae Cochran

Della Mae Shupe Cochran , 89, of Glen Jean, WV died on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. Born October 08, 1921 at Mountain City, TN she was the daughter of the late John Sherman and Emmaline Lewis Shupe. Mrs. Cochran was the oldest member of the Packs Branch Baptist Church, Packs Branch. Her husband, Dale L. Cochran (1991), four brothers, Melvin Shupe, Delmer Shupe, Raymond Shupe and Hester Shupe and two sisters, Eula Elizabeth Shupe and Gladys Gentry preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Wills and husband, James H. of Glen Jean and Tammy Huju and husband, Jon of Layton, Utah, one son, Larry Cochran of Rt 1 Mount Hope and one sisters, Dora Williams of Packs Branch. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Karri Beth Rogers and husband, Thomas of Toney Fork, Larry Dale Cochran of Packs Branch, Jamie Wills of Glen Jean, Victoria Huju, Jonny Huju and Kristian Huju all of Layton, Utah and one great granddaughter, Elizabeth Cochran of Oak Hill. Funeral services will be on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Packs Branch Baptist Church with Pastor Sam Vance officiating. Burial will be at Williams-Argabright Cemetery, Packs Branch, WV. Visitation will be held at Packs Branch Baptist Church on Thursday, January 27, 2011, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
