Delbert Thomas Lewis

Delbert Thomas Lewis , 84, of Oak Hill, WV went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. Born May 27, 1929 at Witcher's Creek, WV he was the son of the late Thomas Jefferson and Della White Lewis. He was a retired concrete worker for Charleston Construction and was a member of the I.U.C.E. Local in Charleston. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Bell Smith Lewis and a nephew, Jack Lewis, Jr. Survivors include one brother, Jack Lewis of Gulfport, FL; two sisters, Gladys Gray and husband, Eugene of St. Petersburg, FL and Betty Keffer of Oak Hill; five sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law; nine nieces, thirteen nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Graveside rites and committal service will be on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Kincaid Cemetery in Kincaid with Pastor Debbie Blevins Minor officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Saturday, September 21, 2013 from 9:30 AM to 10:20 AM. Nephews, Joshua Keffer, Christopher Keffer, David Smith, Justin Keffer, Jackson Keffer, and Jeffery Keffer will serve as pallbearers.
