Delbert "Bert" Lawhorn

Delbert "Bert" Lacy Lawhorn, 42, of Lansing, WV died on Monday, September 05, 2005 at his home. Born February 28, 1963 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of Betty Johnson Lawhorn of Oak Hill, WV and the late Delmas Lacy "Toad" Lawhorn. He was a US Navy veteran. His paternal grandparents, James L. "Jim" and Eva Violet Toney Lawhorn and maternal grandparents, Hubert Wirt "H.W." and Jennie Marie Bonome Johnson preceded him in death. Additional survivors include one brother, Delmas James "Butch" Lawhorn of Oak Hill, WV; three sisters, Pam Richards and husband, Mike, of Clearwater, FL, Vicky Underwood and Ellen Lawhorn both of Oak Hill, WV; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV on Thursday, September 8, 2005, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Services will be on Friday, September 9, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Bill Menefee officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
