Delbert Fletcher Gilliam , 56, of Beckwith, WV died on Wednesday, April 08, 2015 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.
Born February 16, 1959 at Beckwith, WV he was the son of Barbara Blake Gilliam of Beckwith, WV and the late Percy Gilliam.
Mr. Gilliam was a Foreman for the WV DOH - Oak Hill.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Everett Gilliam.
In addition to his mother, Delbert is survived by his wife, Deborah Lynn Koontz Gilliam; one son, David Gilliam and wife, Regina of Beckwith; daughter, Kathy Burgess and husband, Josiah of Beckwith; brothers, Roger Gilliam of Texas, Jerry Gilliam of Hilltop, Luke Gilliam of Fayetteville, and Tony Gilliam of Alaska; sisters, Donna Gilliam of Ingram Branch, Rosemary Adkins of Greentown and Evelyn Gravett of Alabama and several grandchildren.
Mr. Gilliam has been cremated. A memorial service will be on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Charles Blankenship officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
