Deborah Hurd Miller Suggs, 50, of Douglasville, GA formerly of Mount Hope, WV died on Thursday, September 15, 2005 at her home. Born November 17, 1954 at Mount Hope, WV she was the daughter of Margaret Karnes Hurd Crawford of Scarbro, WV and the late Douglas Paul Hurd and step daughter of William T. Crawford of Scarbro, WV. Mrs. Suggs was a waitress. Survivors include her husband, Glenn Suggs of Douglasville, GA; three daughters, Wendy Shorter and fiancee, Michael Hicks, of Salisbury, NC, Ginger Nicholas and husband, Jason, of Salisburg, NC and Michelle Miller of Douglas, GA; two sons, Jason VanBuren and wife, Angel, of Kannapolis, NC and David Miller and his father, Steven D. Miller, of Covington, GA; seven grandchildren, Kristin Brown of Austin, TX, Chelsey Brown, Brianna Nicholas, Hunter Nicholas and Austin Nicholas all of Salisbury, NC, Kayla VanBuren and Dalton VanBuren both of Kannapolis, NC; one sister, Erma Hooper of Mt. Crawford, VA; two brothers, Raymond Hurd of Navarre, FL and Douglas Paul Hurd, Jr. of Hyattsville, MD; and by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Debbie will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Tuesday, September 20, 2005, from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM. Services will be on Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Jerry Bush officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
