Deanna Lynn Toney

Deanna Lynn Toney, 48, of Mount Hope passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Virginia.

Born December 23, 1976 in Beckley, WV, she was the daughter of Thomas Toney and the late Alberta Watkins Toney.

Deanna loved being outdoors and especially she loved watching the Denver Broncos. Her greatest joy in life was being surrounded by her family.

Along with her mother she is also preceded in death by her siblings, Mark Allen Toney, Jeanette Toney, Cindy Watkins, and Daniel Toney.

Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her children, Michael Shane, Quenten Traynham, Quartinie Traynham, and Quony Traynham. 5 grandchildren, siblings, Vivian Layne, Kendra Toney, Scott Watkins, and Steven Toney; and numerous family and friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 12:00 Noon until 12:50 PM on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill. Following the visitation there will be a graveside service and burial at 1:00 PM at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Oak Hill with Pastor Henry Hudson officiating.
