Deanna Carter Davis

Deanna Elaine Carter Davis, 61, of Lochgelly, WV died on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born February 16, 1945 at Lochgelly, WV she was the daughter of the late Richard Thomas and Effie Lee Yarber Carter. Mrs. Davis was a member of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Midway and was a homemaker. A brother, Denzyle Carter preceded her in death. Survivors include husband, John Edward Davis; one son, Kevin Edward Davis and his fiancee, Candy, of Chesapeake, OH; six sisters, Priscilla Renick of Oak Hill, WV, Norma Patrick of Teays Valley, WV, Alma Lee Goins of Spencer, OH, Ruth Cavender of Atlanta, GA, Mary Ellen Kincaid of Alexandria, VA, and Gloria Jean Pack of Mayfield, KY; brother, Marion "Mac" Carter of Aurora, CO; four grandsons, Andrew Davis, Billy, Chris and Scott all of Chesapeake, OH; mother-in-law, Anna Davis of Lochgelly, WV and a special nephew, Ricky Worlledge. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Friday, April 14, 2006, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 15, 2006, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Services will be on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Midway with Pastor Winston O'Neal and Pastor Jerry Bush officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV. Pallbearers will be Richard Worlledge, Wayne Fitzwater, Andrew Davis, Blain Woodson, Roger Davis, Rodney Woodson, Steven Billings and Kenneth Renick.
