Surrounded by family and friends, David Leonard Ewing McMillion, 58, of Mount Hope, WV passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at his home. Born April 24, 1947 at Prince, WV he was the son of the late Golden Leonard and Edith Ewing and adopted son of the late Charles and Ada McMillion. Mr. McMillion was a member of the Kilsyth Free Will Baptist Church, Kilsyth, WV. He was a disabled veteran having served in the US Army from 1965 to 1968. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ewing Lilly; four brothers, Clayton Smith Ewing, Donald Ewing, Charles McMillion and Carlos McMillion. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Evelyn Minor McMillion; one special daughter, Tonya Woods and husband, Jimmy, of Prudence, WV; two very special and loving grandchildren, Courtney and Zachary Woods; three brothers, Daniel Ewing and Ronnie Webb Ewing both of Exmore, VA and Mike Weeks of Beckley, WV; three sisters, Goldie Delcambre and Melissa Carol Ruhan both of Exmore, VA and Pam Asbury of Coal City, WV; by a special nephew, Billy Ray Ewing and several other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Saturday, July 16, 2005, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Services will be on July 16, 2005 at 2:30 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hopewith Rev. Orville Setliff and Rev. Bill Bennett officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill WV with military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post #3110, Oak Hill, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
