Darrell L. Smith

Darrell Lawrence Smith, 62, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at his home. Born May 16, 1943 at Page, WV he was the son of the late Lawrence Howard and Madeline Ruth Berry Smith. He was a retired welder and a member of the U.M.W.A. Two sons, Gregory Scott Smith and Ronald Lee Smith preceded him in death. Survivors include two daughters, Tammy Yvonne Lanham and husband, Emery L., and Shannon Renee Wriston and husband, Phillip, all of Oak Hill, WV and their mother, Judy Harvey Smith; one son, Darrell Steven Smith of Oak Hill, WV and his mother, Joan Potts; two sisters, Jeanie Fox and husband, Paul, and Brenda Lopez and husband, Ramon, all of Oak Hill, WV; four grandchildren, Steven Lee Smith, Darrell Wayne Smith, Austin Lee Smith and Chelsey Renee Lanham, step-grandson, Brian Todd Lanham and by several nieces and nephews Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Saturday, February 25, 2006, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Services will be on Saturday, February 25, 2006, at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Darrell Fuller officiating. Burial will be at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Oak Hill WV.
