Danny Williams

Danny Roosevelt Williams, Sr., 66, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at his home. Born October 18, 1940 at Lochgelly, WV he was the son of the late Emory and Ethel Sadler Williams. He was of the Baptist faith. Danny retired as a mechinist for Garry Manufacturing Co.in New Brunswick, NJ with 38 years service. His wife, Marian Charlotte Rakes Williams preceded him in death. Survivors include two daughters, Connie Crabtree of Oak Hill, WV and Rhonda Babcock of Ocala, FL; two sons, Danny R. Williams, Jr. of Mount Hope, WV and Steven R. Williams of Washington Township, NJ; one brother, Kenny Williams of Oak Hill, WV; a sister, Bernice Kinsler of Sophia, WV; nine grandchildren and a god-daughter, Tori Vandegrift of North Carolina Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Saturday, February 24, 2007, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Services will be on Sunday, February 25, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Robert Burnett officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity WV. Paul Martin, D.J. Daniels, Doug Wilson, John Runyon, Sean Babcok and Jay Williams will serve as pallbearers.
