Daniel B. Neely, Jr.

Daniel Ben "Danny" Neely, Jr., 56, of Oak Hill, WV died on Sunday, July 16, 2006 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA from injuries received in a motorcycle accident on July 4th. Born May 15, 1950 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of Daniel B. Neely, Sr. of Oak Hill and the late Dorothy Haynes Neely and stepson of Irene Alexander Neely of Oak Hill. He was a Parking Attendant for Central Parking, Charleston. Danny graduated from Collins High School, Oak Hill Class of 1969 and was a retired member of the Brothers of the Wheel. Survivors include his wife, Linda Carol Smith Neely; two sons, Daniel B. "D.B." Neely, III of Virginia and Joseph Oliver Carlisle Neely of Oak Hill, one daughter, Teresa Ann Neely of Oak Hill one sister, Sharon Niday and companion, Don Neely, of Parkerburg, WV; one brother, Timothy Neely of Charleston;his granddaughter, Chloe Jayne Neely of Oak Hill and a nephew, Patrick Niday of Columbus, OH. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 PM Monday, July 24, 2006, at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill with remembrances by family and friends. Burial will follow at Treadway Cemetery, Young Street. Oak Hill. Friends may call from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, July 23, 2006, at the funeral home.
