Don't think of me as dead when I am gone Just think of me in some sweet far off place Where lovely flowers bloom along the way Where violets lift their sweet and dewy face. Where little brooks run over mossy stones And winding paths lead through soft fields of green With picket fences gleaming pure and white Where pale pink roses nod and gently lean. Where silken clouds sail across an azure sky And gold and crimson leaves are colored bright Where twinkling stars peep when the twilight falls Like diamonds as they light the velvet night. Just think of me in this sweet far off place This land of joy and love and dreams come true And some day when you wander down the trail You know you'll find me waiting there for you.
