Dana Franklin Pierson

Dana Franklin Pierson , 82, of Fayetteville, WV died on Friday, July 11, 2014 at his home. Born April 25, 1932 at Birch River, WV he was the son of the late William and Edna Faye Morris Pierson. He was a retired Foreman for Narco, Inc. Mr. Pierson was a member of the First Church of God, Fayetteville. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. A son, Dana "Frank"Pierson and a sister, Virginia Johnson preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving family which includes his wife, Rosalee Collins Pierson; one son, Gene Pierson and wife, Patti of Fayetteville; two daughters, Diana Redden of Statesville, NC and Marlene Fox and husband, Ronnie of Fayetteville; brother, Lee Roy Pierson of Richmond, VA and a sister, Jacqueline Crites of Summersville. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Amanda Dove and husband, Ben of Fayetteville, Arik Fraley and wife, Stephanie of Stateville, NC, David Redden of Statesville, NC, Aaron Redden Statesville, NC, Adam Pierson and fiancee', Sammi of Fayetteville, Ryan Fox of Fayetteville and Misty Jones and husband, Billy of Winter Haven, FL; and four great grandchildren, Kinzlee Dove of Fayetteville, Ayden Pierson of Ansted, Conner Pierson of Meadow Bridge and and J.J. Jones of Winter Haven, FL. In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Pierson's body was donated to the Human Gift Registry - WVSOM, Lewisburg, WV. A memorial services will be on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Church of God in Fayetteville with Pastor Danny Goins officiating.
